Unfortunately, there is no such solution as wireless without sacrifice, the three options are: We did take that into consideration when designing our system. With the sub/s sitting next to the couch or sitting area, there’s no need to run wires across the entire room. Our system has wireless sub/s that wirelessly communicates with the soundbar, the rear speakers are connected to the back of the sub/s via standard RCA wires that are included in the box. Even with lower level listening you can really hear the bass end punch through but it remains in balance with the mid and higher ranges. Our speakers would need to be connected to the wireless subwoofers by RCA cables.įor most true surround sound home theater setup, one must run wires from the front of the room to the back for the surround speakers. I do like the sound of the system and can really appreciate the bass especially at lower volume levels where other systems sort of die out on the low end. Eventually I can get it to work so for now I just wanted to note that issue as it is only a couple of months old and this could be an indicator of a problem I'll see more of later with more use. I will say that the use of the remote sometimes is finicky in that when you want to power the unit on or off it sometimes doesn't want to respond.at first I thought maybe a weak battery but have replaced the batteries and still sometimes have the issue so either the power on button is going out on my remote or maybe the system gets into a power save mode that shuts sensitivity down or something. Sounds great and I did some research ahead of time and found some great rear speaker stands that help with rear speaker placement-generic so you can use anything really, but know that stands are not included with the product. Great sound if you want to really feel the bass Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned Truly, well worth the price! Highly recommended - especially at the greatly reduced for the refurbished models available on eBay. And the snaps and pops I read about in reviews have been resolved (at least in my system), and are not present. The one complaint I have heard about Nakamichi Elkite systems is that there is a lag when one changes the function of the television, which does occur, but it is extremely mild: For example, when playing from after a pause, the video will start, but the Soundwafe will begin about three to five seconds later really, not an issue. And the Nakamichi works wonderfully with my new Sony Bravia television the Vizio would often disconnect from the Bravia, and h ad difficulty reconnecting, but not so the Nakamichi Elite. The sound is very clear and natural, and the bass can be quite incredible. The refurbished Soundwafe Elite 7.2.4 system that I purchased was just a little more than the Vizio but has much more power and a *second* subwoofer and was in *perfect* condition. After reading several reviews, I decided to try to find a Nakamichi Soundwafe, and was pleased to find an Elite system that had been refurbished by the manufacturer on eBay. I began searching for a sound bar system with more power and better bass response and Dolby Atmos. This is my second sound bar - the first being a Vizio M512a-H6, which delivered very little bass response and only average high-end response. Excellent sound bar system that delivers high quality sound at a reasonable price.
